COVID-19 Response
We wanted to connect with each of you regarding the current status of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). It is having an increased impact on our community and we feel the importance to share with you the steps and measures we are taking to keep our patients, employees and the community healthy and safe.
Sterilization and cleanliness have always been a top priority in our practice. We have always used universal precautions for HIV, influenza, hepatitis, MRSA, etc. when treating our patients according to the guidelines of the CDC and OSHA. Our office is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day and we will continue to do this with increased frequency. Hand sanitizers are positioned throughout the office as well as anti-bacterial soap by every sink.
We have advised our employees on how to stay healthy and to stay home if not feeling well. We ask the same of our patients. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, traveled outside the United States, or display symptoms indicative of the virus and/or have a fever of any kind, please cancel your appointment and we will reschedule you after 14 days of self-quarantine. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you well-informed. Our decisions will be based on guidance from the CDC, OSHA, and WHO, as well as local and federal government and public health agencies.
As we have prepared for the Coronavirus with preventive and proactive protocols, we feel confident that our office is safe and will remain open at this time. We hope the current environment begins to resolve quickly but every effort will be made to keep us all healthy.
We will maintain thorough communication and will advise you of any updates.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been affected by COVID-19.
